A Re-Birth of a Blogger

Some of you know that I was part of the blogging circuit for some time. In fact I was a pretty active word regurgitator for three years. Then I got pregnant with my fourth baby, and mid-way through my pregnancy things just kinda got pushed aside. Some people thought I fell off the face of the earth. Nope just off the screen. Sorry to my loyal followers. However in due time I shall explain my absence and hopefully you will forgive me and continue to enjoy my sense of smartassery (is that a word) that captured you to begin with.

To recap: I got pregnant (again I know, we are rabbits), and I did give birth to another beautiful baby girl on February 1, 2009. Around the time I stopped typing my antidotes, I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, which ultimately ended up with me in the hospital fluctuating from high sugars to being insulin resistant. I was about 35 weeks pregnant then. After three days, they were worried about keoacidosis, so they did the c-section earlier than scheduled. As a result we had our darling Jolie (not named for the actress). She was in NICU for about 5 days with respiratory issues, mostly because her lungs were about that of a 33 week gestation baby. But she is now a thriving one year old, who is eager to let those once compromised lungs screech at me. It is a lovely sound.

We also decided to move into a larger house, another town the same month the baby was born, because you know I cannot do anything in moderation. In May we moved our family, met some new friends, and have acclimated to life here in perfect harmony. And throughout the year some other things developed (some good and some notsomuch), which I can get into later because I certainly need to leave some things for later. Bloggers need material as much as a comedian does you know.

For those of you new to me, I am on the brink of my mid-30s and have been happily married to my best friend for almost 12 years. As stated, I have four beautiful little girls, ranging ages 7 to 1 year old. I am a mom of an autistic child, who I must say, surprises me all the time. She is the most intriguing human beings I have ever been privileged to know. My other daughters are the three other focal points of my existence. The brightest stars in my galaxy. I am a stay-at-home mom, with the exception of starting up my own business, which centers around bedroom and nursery decorating. Instead of spending all my husbands money, I now enjoy spending everyone Else's and extinguish my creative muses. This endeavor I started up on my own, and to date with the projects I have had, have been successful!

So with this starts a re-birth of sorts. Re-birth of a blog, re-birth of my family, and perhaps most important, a re-birth of myself. Hang on tight, it is bound to get bumpy.

    Nice to virtually meet you.
